Convention Area

Ginowan City advances maintenance as an international convention city.
The convention area has further increased its facilities of resort convention among all these. It is noticed in prefecture and abroad as a place of international and domestic communication and dispatch of new Okinawan culture through conferences, meetings, exhibitions, sports, and music and theatrical activities. |
Open-air Theater
It is the first full-scale open-air theater in Okinawa It holds five thousands people and be in use for rock concerts and outdoor events.
Ginowan Municipal Gymnasium
We hold sports event and other variegated events at the gymnasium inside the seaside.
Toropical Beach
There is a Tropical Beach inside the Convention Area. The white sand and blazing golden sun give people the resort mood.
Ginowan Port Marina
This area is one of the sites for the "Sea Carnival". We held yachting, boating activities and other various events. It is conducted a trial-ride fair of yachts and motor cruiser, fishing contest, yacht race, boat sailing tournament and yacht lessons at the annual "Marine Festival".
